Biography

With the love of style and fashion Toni Allen was born.! Raised in Palmyra NJ Toni Graduated in the early 90s and went to 2 years of college.

 

Always having the love for doing hair Toni would do hair for all of her family and friends, not knowing that that would be her life choice as a career Toni worked several desk jobs before deciding that desk jobs didn't suit her well. Toni decided to go to cosmetology school. Toni attended Gorden Phillips Beauty Academy in the mid 90s and graduated with many skills, with the knowledge of  how to weave, even teaching some classes in the school while being a student.

Toni  began her career working  at a Willies beauty salon located in Willingboro for 10 years and decided to venture into her own business. 

In 2006 Toni went on to open her hair salon Edgewater Park New Jersey  Elektra Hair Design DBA "Elektra Hair Boutique" and being a part of several other businesses such as a Barber Shop located in Pennsauken NJ and a clothing store located in Cherry Hill NJ.

Toni got her first gig in the hairstyling world when she was featured  in DA BOOK lifestyle hair fashion entertainment magazine showcasing several futuristic eclectic hairstyles, and shortly after went on to style several cheerleaders on the Philadelphia Eagle Cheerleaders squad for there first cheerleaders calendar.

Toni has been a pioneer in Hair styling business with her own weaving techniques, and starting her own hair line, hair care products and styling products with the ElektraCute Branding.
